Becky Miller

Becky Miller graduated from Appalachian State University with graduate
degrees from Spalding University and Xavier University. She is currently teaching gifted education for Mason City Schools and is an adjunct professor at Miami University
and Xavier University. She is also Praxis Assessor for the State of Ohio. Becky has conducted and presented workshops to all age levels from elementary to adults. She is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Becky also loves to play golf, travel, and read.

 

Nicole (Sprenkle) Mytych

Nicole (Sprenkle) Mytych was raised on a farm in York, Pennsylvania. At Penn State she was part of the 15 members of the Alpha Class who founded the Lambda Chapter in Happy Valley. Nicole graduated from Penn State in 2004 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation she moved to Houston, Texas where she began her career as a Production Engineer with the Dow Chemical Company. Since she graduated, Nicole has remained involved with Phi Sigma Rho as an officer in the Lambda Chapter Alumnae Association and is currently VP of Alumnae Affairs. A year after moving to Texas her boyfriend Andy proposed and the happy couple was married June 2007. Nicole and Andy live just south of Houston where Nicole enjoys gardening, reading, sewing and making plans for their backyard.

 

Teresa Phillips

Teresa Phillips is currently an active sister at the University of Connecticut (Theta chapter) with plans of graduating with a degree in Resource Economics and a minor in Business Administration in 2008.  Teresa studied industrial engineering during her 4 years of school and plans to integrate her business and engineering skills in her future career.  Teresa served as the Vice President of Internal Affairs for her college Panhellenic Council for the 2007-2008 term.  Teresa's time on Panhellenic gave her an appreciation for and understanding of each of the 8 sororities on her campus, while making her appreciate the differences that make PSR so special.  Teresa has held many positions in her chapter, and is currently member educator and a standards board member for her last semester at UConn.

 

Kellan (Jablonski) Ponikiewicz

Kellan (Jablonski) Ponikiewicz is a member of the Lambda Chapter's Alpha Class. While she was an active sister, Kellan was a rush director, social chair, and founding sister. After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Kellan participated on National Council as a Vice President of Programming. During her time on National Council Kellan accomplished the following: creating the LEAP program; incorporating the Phi Sigma Rho Foundation; establishing resumania; and helping to carry out a national convention and 20th anniversary celebration. Other Phi Sigma Rho accomplishments include drafting the current national recruitment manual and assisting in the establishment of the Case Western Reserve colony and chapter. Currently Kellan is a patent agent at Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston, Massachusetts, and will be finishing her law degree in December of 2008.

 

Kristen Rector

Kristen Rector grew up in Nazareth, PA. She attended Penn State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. While at PSU she joined Phi Sigma Rho in her sophomore year. After graduation, Kristen accepted a job with Ingersoll Rand in their Accelerated Development Program. Kristen's first rotation was at Bobcat in Bismarck, ND working in the Lean Six Sigma Deployment group. Her second rotation is at the Security Technologies Headquarters in Carmel, IN in New Product Development Sourcing.  She has since settled in Carmel and is working as a Production Team Leader at Ingersoll Rand’s Von Duprin facility in Indianapolis, IN.  Kristen is currently the National Leadership Director for Phi Sigma Rho.

 

Jan Willig

Jan Willig is a graduate of Georgetown College (KY) and received her Master’s of Education and Rank I degrees from Xavier University (OH). She has taught Preschool to Seniors and is currently teaching Elementary Gifted Education in Mason, OH. Jan has one son (a UK graduate) and a daughter-in-law and two grandDOGS. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, watching sports, eating on the Ohio River, and spending time with friends and family.
