Scholarship
Applications for the 2008-2009 scholarship are available through
this link. The
application can also be requested from
Lara Day. The applications were
included in the registration folder at this year’s LEAP conference in Lexington,
Kentucky. The application deadline is October 15, 2008. The scholarship will be
awarded in January 2009 and the scholarship recipient will be announced during
the 2009 Phi Sigma Rho National Convention.
Actives and alumnae who have been initiated into a chartered chapter of Phi
Sigma Rho National Sorority are eligible for scholarships while in pursuit of
engineering/science higher education.
Selection for 2008 scholarships will be made to reward merit. Merit will be
based on the following criteria: exceptional acts of community service;
leadership, volunteerism, and meaningful participation in Phi Sigma Rho and/or
other activities; and academic achievement. Financial need will not be
considered in determining merit.
