National Volunteer Openings

Openings Under the VP of Alumnae Affairs
Database Consultant: This sister will be responsible for a short-term project researching database options and will present the VPAA with her recommendations and budget. Database experience preferred.

Alumnae Association/Organization Chairs: Openings for chairperson of undeveloped alumnae associations/organizations. The following chapters do not have alumnae associations:

    - University of California Irvine - Pi
    - University of Houston - Upsilon
    - University of California, San Diego - Chi

Assistant Database Manager: Responsible for assisting National Database Manager. Become familiar with existing database and focus on researching alternatives for short-term and long-term solutions for our database. Time commitment is approximately 5 hours/month.

Openings Under VP of Programming
LEAP volunteers: Looking for enthusiastic sisters to assist with LEAP programming with a primary focus in alumnae, but also supplementing the current active programming.

Alumnae Leadership Director
Recruitment Director

Openings Under the VP of Publications
National Historian: The National Historian is to oversee the maintenance and archival of national documents and materials. Any alumna member of the sorority in good standing is eligible for consideration of this one-year appointment.

     - The Historian must possess abilities to perform the activities needed to best serve

       the sorority such as: typing and computer skills, communication skills, and

       organizational skills.

     - The Historian must have computer and internet access and the ability to temporarily

       house sorority material.

 

Historical Committee Members: Any alumna or active interested in helping gather information pertaining to chapter, Phi Sigma Rho organization, founding, and member histories is welcomed. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

     - Corresponding with alumna or active sorority members

     - Designing a creative approach to archiving materials

     - Collecting and organizing photography

     - Maintaining a list of significant sorority dates

     - Working to spread historical knowledge to other Phi Rhos
