National Vice
President of Standards Vivian Ku
Vivian Ku joined Phi Sigma Rho in the Spring
of 2002 as a founding sister of the University of California,
Los Angeles (UCLA)-Nu Chapter, founded March 1, 2003. As an
active member, she served as Vice President and Historian, among
other committee chairs positions. She graduated with her B.S. in
Chemical Engineering in June 2003 and began serving Phi Sigma
Rho as a national volunteer. She has been a Regional Field
Director (RFD)-West Region 2 and Vice President of Collegiate
Affairs (VPCA) on the 10th National Council (2005-2007). Vivian
is the current Vice President of Standards on the 11th National
Council.
Professionally, Vivian works for Amgen, Inc., a
biotechnology/pharmaceutical in Thousand Oaks, CA, as a Senior
Associate. In addition, she is pursuing a M.S. part-time in
Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Southern California
(USC), but will always be a UCLA Bruin at heart!
In her free time, Vivian enjoys watching movies, reading,
traveling, shopping, and spending time with her friends, but
especially her boyfriend, Geoff, of 6+ years, who is finishing
up his M.S. in Evolutionary Biology at the University of
California, Riverside (UCR).
