Katie Adler
Katie Adler was born and raised in Milford, Michigan. After graduating from Milford High School, she attended the University of Michigan -
Ann Arbor where she studied Chemical Engineering. She joined Phi Rho in the winter semester of her freshman year. While at Michigan she held
several positions with the sorority including: Vice President of Standards, New Member Educator, and was a part of several committees. She
graduated with her BSE in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Spanish in 2008.
After graduation she accepted a job with BASF as a part of the Professional Development Program. The program consisted of two 9-month rotations:
her first rotation was in Geismar, Louisiana as an operations engineer, and her second rotation was in Wyandotte, Michigan in the Research and
Development division. After completion of the program she accepted a job as a project/process engineer within Corporate Engineering at BASF.
In her spare time, she enjoys racing in both triathlons and half marathons, Bikram yoga, camping, traveling, spending time with friends and
family, and playing with her three year old Black Lab/Greyhound mix Bella. She currently lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
