National Vice President
of Programming
Kristina Elias
Kristina Elias joined the Zeta, University of Pittsburgh, Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho during the second semester of her sophomore year. While she
was an active, she planned SIBS events, a sorority retreat and the end of the year banquet. After graduating with her B.S. in Chemical
Engineering in May 2010, she remained involved with the actives by fulfilling the role of Alumnae Advisor. Kristina also joined the Zeta
Chapter Alumnae organization as the treasurer.
Kristina works at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh as the Development Associate. Her main task is to plan special events for the
organization. Because she gets asked so much - while she is not an engineer by title, she still uses a large amount of engineering and engineering
thinking on a daily basis!
Since Phi Rho has given so much to Kristina over the years, she is excited to give back to the organization as a national volunteer. This
fall, Kristina will also start her studies as a graduate student at Duquesne University Online School of Leadership. When she completes the
program, she will have an M.S. in Leadership with a concentration in Community Leadership. When she is not working, helping the sorority, or
studying, Kristina also enjoys baking cookies, going to church and working with the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club.
