Missy Barber
Melissa (Missy) Barber grew up in Auburn, IN. She attended Purdue University and joined Phi Sigma Rho during her freshman year. During her
active years, she held positions such as Sergent at Arms, Spirit Coordinator, and Director of Internal Relations. Melissa graduated with a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering in 2009. After graduation, Melissa accepted a job with Avery Dennison in their Global Operations Leadership Development
(G.O.L.D.) program. Her first rotation was in Greenfield, IN as a Quality Engineer and she is now in her second rotation in Pasadena, CA as a
Research Engineer. Before becoming a member of the 13th National Council, she volunteered on the Recruitment Committee. She enjoys sailing,
reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid fan of Purdue Football and Basketball as well as the Indianapolis Colts
and Cincinnati Reds.
