Director - Central Monique Chinchar
Monique Chinchar joined Phi Sigma Rho in the
fall of 1999 as a Lambda class member of the Toledo-Delta
chapter. As an Active member, she served as President,
Secretary, Scholarship Chair, and Standards Board member.
Monique graduated from the University of Toledo in May 2002 with
a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, then went on to
Cleveland State University, where she graduated with a Master of
Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in May 2004.
Monique served on the 9th National Council as the National Vice
President of Collegiate Affairs. Prior to that, she began
serving the Sorority on the National level as a Regional Field
Director in 2002, and has served as an RFD for several different
regions ever since. Currently, she is the Regional Field
Director for the Central Region.
Monique works for Rockwell Collins as an Industrial Engineer/Six
Sigma Green Belt in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa manufacturing
facility. She leads and supports Lean/Six Sigma projects and is
currently working to attain her Black Belt certification.
Monique currently resides in Urbana, Iowa with her husband, two
cats, and two dogs. She enjoys playing softball, golfing,
watching pro and college football, sewing, and reading.
