LifelongA group of sisters from the Purdue - Alpha chapter graduated 25 years ago, between 1992-1994, after living together through their Engineering coursework at the Lutz apartments. The group of ten women, which expands and contracts based on other obligations, just got together this summer and caught up on careers, professional issues, family and kids, and the joys of getting a little older and wiser.Between 1992 and 2018, these women have found ways to stay in touch with 42 occasions - including weddings, baby showers, “girls” trips, spa relaxation, and visiting each other’s homes across the country. These occasions are all documented on a shared google doc for historic purposes. Each time, there is an excel spreadsheet with ight times, cell phones and even an itinerary! (Hanging out with engineering majors is awesome!) In college, we sang “sisters we are and friends we’ll always be.” Now we know these words ring true and we look forward to seeing what the next 25 years bring.Karen HuelsmanPurdue - Alpha, Zeta ClassPHI RHO FRIENDSHIPSMolly, Suzanne, Tammy, Melissa, Amy, Uma, Margaret, Karen, Nina and Katy in Boston, MA, Summer 2018.Phi Sigma Rho’s Top 5 Affinity Vendors in 2018 1.
